The integration of A‘o Makua courses as a requirement for the ED 294 Introduction to Multicultural Education course provides students with the opportunity to increase their awareness to the Hawaiian culture in hopes of integrating relevant culturally-based resources to better service students in Hawai‘i. Students in the program also have the option to enroll in A‘o Makua courses as an option in their ED 297A Educational Media and Technology course.
